淨化工程的階段有3套過程設備。主電源使用3台天然氣發電機組。共3×1 840 kW，2用1備。1台發電機組接在Ⅰ段母線上，2台發電機組接在Ⅱ段母線上。當1台發電機組因故停止供電，淨化工程配電裝置有一段母線失電，該段母線所供負荷有可能是2套裝置的負荷，為了使2套裝置不因發電機故障而停產，接在該段母線上的MDEA循環泵、再生塔回流泵、TEG循環泵同時自啟動，在這瞬間隻有1台發電機組運行(備用發電機組還未啟動正常運行)，帶一段母線的正常負荷和另一段母線同時自啟動的負荷。
There are three sets of process equipment in the first stage of the purification project. Three natural gas generating sets are used for the main power supply. When one generator unit stops power supply for some reason, a section of bus bar of power distribution device of purification project loses power, and the load supplied by this section of bus may be the load of two sets of devices. In order to make the two sets of devices stop production due to generator failure, MDEA circulating pump, regeneration tower reflux pump and TEG circulating pump connected to the bus bar will start automatically at the same time. At this moment, only one generator set is in operation (standby generator set) The normal load with one section of bus and the load of self starting of another bus at the same time.

According to the calculation, the maximum impulse current that the generator set can bear is 2957a, while the instantaneous impulse current in the plant is 3772 a, which will inevitably lead to load rejection of all generating units and force the whole plant to stop production. 2. Optimization of control and wiring system
In the purification project design, the frequency converter is selected. The characteristics of the frequency converter are good man-machine interface, LCD display, convenient installation and simple operation. The display panel can directly display the output voltage, current and frequency of the inverter, as well as the energy consumed by motor operation, operation time, etc. The purification engineering control system is controlled based on the special control program of frequency converter, with power frequency and frequency conversion operation mode, and the two operation modes are interlocked and independent of each other; it can reflect the working condition of frequency converter in detail and accurately. The above wiring design has the following features:
a) The frequency converter is equipped with contactor as bypass, which improves the reliability of power supply.
b) The frequency converter adopts manual and automatic starting modes, which can be switched and selected by the transfer switch. In the purification project, the pumps participating in the self starting can start automatically in batches, which can not only reduce the starting current, but also avoid the process unit restart when the dual power supply is switched.
c) The operation mode of frequency converter can be open-loop or closed-loop. In open-loop operation, the potentiometer is adjusted manually. In the design of purification project, considering the large scale of natural gas treatment on site and its importance is very prominent, this new control system has been adopted in the initial stage, and there is no practical experience.
